Dr Pat Sells
Pat specialises in equine reproduction, neonatology and podiatry. He also has a keen interest in rehabilitation and the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal injury in racehorses and sport horses. He also engages in sales work, vettings and exports. Pat is a member of the expert Veterinary Advisory Committee for the HBLB, and is an Official Veterinarian (OV).
Pat qualified from Liverpool Vet School in 2007 with the Equine Clinical Prize. He spent almost 5 years at Rossdale & Partners in Newmarket, where he obtained his Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and developed a passion for TB work, supporting busy breeding operations such as Juddmonte Farms.
Pat subsequently set up a specialist practice in New Zealand providing veterinary care to one of the Southern Hemisphere’s largest ownerbreeders, Windsor Park Stud, housing 300 broodmares, 8 stallions and a large training barn. After 5 years in NZ, Pat moved home to the UK and set up a stud & racing practice based at Chasemore Farm. Pat is also a member of the senior management team that runs the stud.

Dr Charlotte Ingham
Charlotte joined Orbital Veterinary Services as a Director and Veterinary Surgeon in 2025, bringing a rich background in equine clinical practice and a lifelong involvement with horses. She has extensive experience in equine reproduction and working with performance horses. Charlotte is also a FEI Official Veterinarian and an Official Veterinarian for exports(OV).
A graduate of the Royal Veterinary College with Honours and recipient of the Equine Clinical Prize, Charlotte grew up in Berkshire in a highly equestrian family, riding out regularly for a local race yard.
After graduation, she completed an internship in Shropshire with a strong focus on stud medicine, igniting a passion for reproductive work. From there, she relocated to Hertfordshire, where she gained valuable experience in treating a diverse caseload, and developed expertise in poor performance investigations and gastroscopy.
After a further 2 years in Berkshire, Charlotte has built up an excellent client base, taking pride in her thorough clinical workups with a thoughtful tailored approach to every case. Charlotte is now the primary, on-site vet for Chasemore Farm and she looks forward to a busy season ahead.

Dr Max Schuster
Max joined Orbital Veterinary Services at the end of 2025. He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018 and began his career in a busy ambulatory practice in Shropshire, working with a diverse client base. It was here that Max first developed a strong interest in equine dentistry.
Following this, Max spent three years in Hertfordshire working with several racehorse and sport horse yards, where he developed a keen interest in routine surgical procedures, including laser sarcoid removal and castrations.
Max particularly enjoys routine dentistry, as well as more advanced cases requiring tooth extractions and diagnostic head radiography.
Alongside his ambulatory and surgical work, Max has spent three years specialising in equine emergency medicine around Newbury and Lambourn. This experience further broadened his clinical expertise and led him to undertake further studies towards a Certificate in Equine Emergency Medicine and Critical Care.
